To all ViaMi Members and Watchers - a very Happy, Healthy & Prosperous New Year!

ViaMi Activity
I am sure you have noticed that ViaMi has not been active for a couple of months. This is due to the fact that I switched my jobs about 3 months ago and had to dedicate my time to the new position. Concentration on new job was taking most of my time - December was completely crazy - I don't know how the hell I survived. I was able to take about 10 days off during the holidays - a much needed break. Things are a bit better now (don't know for how long) and I am hoping I can dedicate a little more time to ViaMi and all of you.

New Members & Postings
ViaMi has gained a number of new members and appreciators over the last couple of months. Thank you and welcome all of new members. I hope you will find this Club and group of people associated with it interesting and informative. Please feel free to share your views on the club, architecture & minimalism via comments and notes. All questions and suggestions are welcome!

Please check out some of the new postings - sorry it took me a while to put them up. For those whose submissions were not posted, please don't be discouraged. It just means that your work did not quiet fit for ViaMi - please keep submitting!

ViaMi Book Project
I must apologize to all members who are participating in this project. Originally I was planning on publishing the book for the Holidays. But Life got in the way (new job) and due to this, I was majorly delayed in this venture. The timing of publishing is now closer to Spring of '08. I will provide participating members with an update via e-mail.

Volunteers
As I said before - I am the only Admin for the club. With full time job, family and life in general, it is difficult for me to dedicate time to ViaMi - I am doing the best I can. If anybody is willing to help, please note me.

Again, I hope all of you have a Fantastic Year!

To promote Architectural Minimalism Art (in all mediums), artists associated with the genre, share works, images, ideas and provide an open discussion forum.



Our medium, at the moment, is photography. Between the 3 of us, we photograph many different subjects and of course, have our own styles. But what we share in common is our love for Architecture and man made structures and most importantly, taking photographs of these structures from an unusual and abstract perspective.
